Salvatore Ferragamo to Open Worldwide Store Concept at NorthPark Center
DALLAS, Texas – July 5, 2006 – NorthPark Center, one of the premier shopping centers in the United States, is proud to announce that Salvatore Ferragamo, one of the leading Italian luxury fashion houses, will open a 4,400 square foot retail space, in keeping with the worldwide Ferragamo store design concept. Scheduled to open in Fall 2006, the new boutique will showcase a complete collection of men’s and women’s shoes, silk and leather accessories and ready-to-wear lines. The store will be located across from CH Carolina Herrera, Michael Kors and across from the recently announced Barneys New York flagship store. This will be the only Salvatore Ferragamo store in North Texas and the 21st in North America.
Salvatore Ferragamo is one of the world’s most important and best-known “Made in Italy” luxury brands. Originally founded by in 1927 and achieving fame as shoemaker, Salvatore Ferragamo has since evolved into one of the world’s leading designers, producers and distributors of luxury shoes, leather goods, accessories, fragrances and ready-to-wear for men and women.

This new store design emanates a sleek vibrancy and accessible elegance. Like all Ferragamo designs, great attention has been paid to the materials and style by combining the highly innovative with the quality of traditional craftsmanship. Walnut and limestone contrast with high-tech lacquer and metal. Pearlized leather sofas and chairs complete the feeling of warmth and luxury.
