NorthPark Center Announces 14 New Stores and Restaurants that are a First for Texas
DALLAS, Texas (June 2, 2006) – NorthPark Center is delighted to announce fourteen retailers that will open their first location in Texas, including adidas Originals, Bottega Veneta, Calvin Klein Underwear, Dallas Mavericks Ultimate Fan Shop, Fila, Intermix, Lanciani Travel Jewelry, Michael Kors, Miss Sixty/Energie, MNG by Mango, Na Hoku and Original Penguin. Joining these select group of retailers are NorthPark’s new dining options that have their first location in Texas; Doc Green’s Gourmet Salads and The Original Soup Man/The Crêpemaker.
adidas Originals: Adidas combines the authentic vision and passion that Adi Dassler brought to sport more than 75 years ago with the sporting lifestyle of today's world. The result is the perfect fusion of sport authenticity and global street style.
Calvin Klein Underwear: Calvin Klein underwear and intimate apparel was first introduced in 1982 and continues to be regarded as one of the most well-known and innovative designer underwear and intimate apparel brands for men and women. This will be the company’s first location in Texas. Opening April 2006 near Nordstrom on the second level.
Dallas Mavericks Ultimate Fan Shop: The Dallas Mavericks Ultimate Fan Shop is your one-stop shopping source for all your favorite Dallas Mavericks gear, including men’s, women’s and children’s apparel, jerseys, hats, footwear, sporting goods, accessories, and gifts. This store will also feature a complete assortment of all your favorite NBA and college team’s merchandise.
Fila: Fila was started in 1911 by the brothers Fila in the shadow of the Italian Alps. Its original focus was on making fine fabrics in the early century materials capital of Biella, Italy. The brand grew from fabric production into making undergarments and ultimately sportswear. Fila established itself early on as a high-end, high-quality sportswear maker and grew into a very successful global brand.
Intermix: Defined by its name and vision, Intermix represents the woman's ultimate international fashion destination. Utilizing a twist of European flare, Intermix defines a unique shopping experience by combining prestigious design houses with lesser known talent from Paris, London and around the globe. The Intermix store at NorthPark Center will be the company’s first in Texas.
Lanciani Travel Jewelry: Founded in Rome, Lanciani Travel Jewelry is synonymous with quality, distinction, elegance and the grand Italian sense of enduring style. In essence, our creations are the most exquisite jewelry offered in the market today for the woman who travels and prefers to keep her precious jewelry safe at home.
Michael Kors: Michael Kors is the leading American fashion designer for luxury accessories and sportswear for women and men around the globe. The company’s heritage is rooted in producing polished, sleek, sophisticated American sportswear with a jet-set attitude. Na Hoku: Na Hoku has been creating Hawaii’s finest jewelry since 1924. From the unique jewelry designs that we create in our facility in Hawaii to the exclusive designer collections that we present you, our incomparable selection of Hawaiian and Island Lifestyle jewelry is unmatched for its quality and expert craftsmanship. This Na Hoku store at NorthPark Center will be the company’s only location in Texas.
Original Penguin: Original Penguin has given new life to classic American sportswear. From the iconic golf shirts worn by Bob Hope and Richard Nixon, Penguin has redefined and expanded their men’s collection to introduce clothing for women, footwear and eyewear. The Original Penguin store in NorthPark Center will be the first location in Texas.

Doc Green’s Gourmet Salads: Doc Green’s Gourmet Salads is a new fast-casual restaurant concept specializing in the art of salad-mixing comfort food, lean cuisine, fish, meat, poultry and sides. It’s good food that’s good for you-with a wealth of options to personalize each meal so you can be as healthy as you want to be!
The Original SoupMan/The Crêpemaker: Al Yeganeh, founder of the Soup Kitchen International restaurant, located in New York City, has been producing premium, gourmet soups for loyal devotees since 1984. His persona, as well as his soup, abruptly went international with the 1995 airing of the famous “soup” episode of “Seinfeld,” which featured a character based on Mr. Yeganeh. Now you can enjoy the world’s best soups…Introducing The Original Soup Man. This will be the first location for The Original Soup Man in Texas. The original Crêpemaker offers hand held crêpes filled with fresh, delightful food combinations to satisfy the heartiest of appetites.
