The 24th annual Dallas CASA Parade of Playhouses returns to NorthPark Center as an imaginative presentation of children’s play structures to benefit abused and neglected children in Dallas County. From July 12-28, children’s playhouses generously designed, built, and donated by a spread of architects, builders, organizations, corporations, and individuals will decorate the halls of NorthPark.
Raffle tickets for the opportunity to win these playhouses are sold at ticket tables throughout the center and online—tickets are $5 each or five for $20. Raffle winners will be announced Sunday, July 28 at 4PM in NorthCourt, located on Level One between Nordstrom and Macy's. Winners not in attendance will be notified by telephone. Those unable to accept a playhouse may also participate via sponsorship opportunities, monetary donations, and voting for your favorite playhouse. To vote, text “dallascasa” to 41444. Each vote costs $5 and the winning playhouse will be announced on social media.
All of these fundraising opportunities serve to support the mission of Dallas CASA in providing more volunteer advocates to help abused children find safe, permanent homes. CASA is a non-profit social service agency that served over 3,100 children in Dallas County last year alone. Their court-appointed volunteers pay individualized attention to foster children in order to gather important information to make recommendations to their judge.
