New York Fashion Week has come to a close and the Spring/Summer 2017 collections look bold as ever.
Word on the fashion street is that fashionista Olivia Palermo is partnering with Banana Republic. The brand is expanding their see-now-buy-now collection program for this upcoming spring season and Palermo has added her special touch.
Coach goes rebel chic showing many combinations of floral dresses balanced by leather and studs. Platform shoes, fringe and accessorized handbags were common themes among the runway and this rocker girl collection.
Hitting Spring Studios with a live band, Michael Kors showed bright printed dresses, belted waistlines and clean menswear-inspired lines. Known for creating pieces that transition from day-to-night, Kors stayed true to the brand while upping the luxury appeal.
The whimsical and bright Tory Burch show was held at the Whitney Museum of American Art. The Spring/Summer 2017 collection felt inspired by travel and what Tory herself calls “East Coast meets West Coast.” With a laid back bohemian vibe, the colors and embroidered details leapt off of the runway.
