The heart of the home is the kitchen, which is why my husband and I decided to embark on a complete kitchen remodel this summer. We wanted a space that would be a great gathering place for our family, and a place to entertain friends. Luckily for us, our remodel coincided with the opening of the new PIRCH at NorthPark Center, and we turned to them for all of our kitchen appliance needs.
From the moment you step foot into the store, you realize that this is going to be a completely different home shopping experience. Instead of being greeted by an eager salesperson as you would at some of the other box retailers, you are welcomed with a smile and a complimentary espresso, infused water or iced tea.
Looking around the store, you will be amazed at the beautiful vignettes of fully designed, fully functional kitchens. If you are lucky, and chances are you will be, you will see the appliances in action while enjoying a chef prepared chef-prepared appetizer. There are always cooks in the kitchen at PIRCH, and we were happy to taste test the various gourmet delights, including pork nachos, Vietnamese spring rolls, pizza, and roasted pig.
When it comes to the staff, there are no pushy sales managers. Instead, there are advisors in lifestyle experiences. Our advisor, Andrew Owen, listened carefully to our budget and needs, and was able to prepare a package that exceeded our expectations and at a price we could afford. There were no gimmicks or flashy “sales signs,” just a friendly, helpful, knowledgeable person who seemed to really care about us, the customer. The exemplary shopping experience concluded on the day we finalized our order and the store director, Tammy Wood, insisted on arranging a private lunch for us in one of their beautiful meeting spaces.
PIRCH understands that home is where the heart is, and they have found a way to create an experience you will fall in love with.
