Make the holiday season a memorable one for those in need by giving presents, clothing and necessities through the Salvation Army Angel Tree. Choose an Angel by December 7 and drop off your gift by December 9, and the Salvation Army will deliver it in time for Christmas. Created in 1979, the Angel Tree is one of the Salvation Army’s most important holiday efforts. NorthPark Center Angel Tree patrons have contributed millions of dollars in donated Christmas gifts to over 40,000 North Texans.
The SPCA of Texas, the Dallas Chapter of the American Institute of Architects and TEXO proudly present the fourth annual Bark + Build design and build competition and auction to benefit the SPCA of Texas’ “Home for the Holidays” event. Architects, contractors and design teams come together to create one-of-a-kind dog houses and cat condos that will be auctioned off via an online silent auction. The houses will be judged on both design and construction quality by a jury panel, with various award categories. All proceeds from the auction will go to the SPCA of Texas. In addition to exhibiting the talented professional teams’ high-quality designs, the competition and auction serve to foster relationships between architecture and contractor firms and raise awareness and support for the SPCA of Texas’ mission.

Sing along to one of the most famous Christmas carols while familiar characters pop in and out of The Twelve Days of Christmas Clock. This 28-foot music box originally made its debut in 1979 and was on view until 2006. Designed and handcrafted for NorthPark by Bill Reed, it was inspired by historic animated clock towers in Europe, such as the Rathaus-Glockenspiel in Munich. After careful renovation, the clock makes its anticipated return back to NorthPark this season. The Twelve Days of Christmas Clock occurs approximately every 15 minutes.
