Movado

1881, La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. Achilles Ditesheim, an entrepreneur at 19, hired six watchmakers and opened a workshop. He named his company, Movado, meaning "always in motion." It became known for design innovation in time technology. Today: 101 patents; over 200 international awards; watches in the permanent collections of 20 museums worldwide. This is the company's only boutique in Dallas/Ft. Worth.
