Charles David

First launched as a wholesale distribution company bringing European shoes to the United States , Charles David has quickly become a leader in women's footwear. The first Charles David retail store was opened on Melrose Avenue in 1988, and the NorthPark store will be one of 25 retail stores nationwide. Charles David stores serve as a showcase for all three of the company's lines - Charles David, Charles by Charles David and, most recently, Exchange by Charles David. According to Charles Malka, CEO, shoes have always been about beauty style, comfort and quality. "Our customers have to feel that shoes are major, not just an accessory," says Malka.
