The Cadillac Design Gallery reception tent, located outside the north entrance of NorthPark Center between Nordstrom and Macy’s, opens one hour prior to show time and features a 60-foot bar, a raised DJ booth, lounge seating and plasma screens showing Fashion at the Park runway footage. Throughout the event, patrons will sip Möet & Chandon White Star Champagne, glacéau smartwater and special Fashion at the Park cocktails made with Belvedere Vodka.
The Fashion at the Park U-shaped runway is surrounded by 500 reserved seats and features a tiered layout allowing maximum visibility with 212 front row seats. The Designer Circle, located inside the runway, offers a fashion experience usually reserved for celebrities, buyers and editors.
Seating in the show tent will begin 30 minutes prior to show time. All guests must be seated no later than five minutes prior to the show time. Guests will not be seated once the show begins. Personal appearances are subject to change.

The Power of Style is a celebration of society’s most distinguished women combined with a stunning roster of spring 2008 looks from some of fashion’s hottest American and European designers. Inspired by the theme of Vogue’s annual March Power issue, this event will spotlights three notable female professionals and philanthropists in the Dallas community. Featured designs will be available for sale in a specially created Nordstrom merchandise boutique in the Cadillac Design Gallery before and after the runway event.

Central Market is proud to be featured as the official Catwalk Cuisine of Fashion at the Park. Delicious dishes prepared by Central Market chefs will be served up backstage to keep the models, media and crew going strong throughout the runway shows and events.
Music maven and Dallas socialite Lucy Wrubel will keep the scene hot as she spins tunes from a custom-designed, raised DJ booth, surrounded by the Capital One Bank Lounge. Featuring chic lounge seating, it’s the perfect place to sip cocktails and soak up the stylish atmosphere.

New this season is beauty partner Bobbi Brown Cosmetics. Bringing years of high-fashion and Hollywood experience to Fashion at the Park, Bobbi’s Beauty Team, a group of hand-selected makeup artists trained by Bobbi herself, will up the glamour quotient on the runway. Bobbi Brown West Coast Artistry Manager Tanya Miller and East Coast Artistry Manager Kimberly Soane will oversee the makeup backstage for all runway shows. Miller’s client roster includes a who’s who list of the fashion and entertainment worlds from Badgley Mischka, Tory Burch and Lela Rose to Cynthia Rowley, the “Oprah Winfrey Show,” the Billboard Music Awards and many more. Returning for its second year, the AFI DALLAS 2008 International Film Festival will be held March 27 through April 6 at some of the best venues Dallas has to offer, including the AMC NorthPark 15. Filmmakers will vie for a series of awards highlighted by Target’s unrestricted cash prizes of $25,000 each to the Target Filmmaker Award winners of the Narrative and Documentary Competitions. Bookmarks a dallas public library
The first children’s library in the country to open in a shopping center, Bookmarks is located in NorthPark Center on Level One between NorthCourt and CenterPark. The colorful, child-friendly space features a continuously rotating collection of books for children 12 years and younger as well as parenting materials, laptops for older children equipped with Wi-Fi, and Early Learning Stations for toddlers. The focal point of this unique library is a custom-designed art table that ribbons throughout the space to encourage interaction and a love of art and reading. Nasher Sculpture Center
Home to the Patsy R. and Raymond D. Nasher Collection of modern and contemporary sculpture, Nasher Sculpture Center is considered to be one of the foremost collections of its kind in the world. Located on a 2.4-acre site in the heart of the Dallas Arts District, the center was designed by world-renowned AIA Gold Medal and Pritzker prize-winning architect Renzo Piano and features a 1.4-acre garden by landscape architect Peter Walker. Susan G. Komen for the Cure
Susan G. Komen for the Cure is the world’s largest grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists, fighting to save lives and empower people, ensuring quality care for all and energizing science to find the cure. The Dallas County Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure has raised more than $10 million over the past five years.
